Castlevania Lord of Shadows could be the first remake that lives up to the to the nostalgic quality of the original. The game looks and feels fairly powerful, and the design reflects some of the best third person action adventure titles on the market. Gabriel’s abilities rang from a basic hack, and slash enthused combat designed, to an almost RPG like magic, and upgrade system. Promising large boss battles, and an epic story creates some high hopes, and this Castlevania looks like could deliver.
The E3 Demo for Castlevania Lords of shadows wasn’t showing much in the way of story, or epic boss battles, but from what I played the game had some very intuitive controls, and the visuals were very sharp. It’s still too early to tell how much of Hedoi Kojima’s influence is represented in this game, and after conducting an interview with some of the developers it’s clear that Castlevania Lords of Shadow has got some of the industry’s best talent working to pushing its quality.

This could be the first remake that does the series justice. The show floor demo left us wanting more, and the game is still in development so many the games feature that are schedule to appear in the full release were not playable in the E3 Demo. We’ll bring you more from Castlevania as the info rolls out. While you wait, here’s the full interview, and E3 Demo Walkthrough.
