As all the reviews for Castlevania Lords of Shadow roll in, Konami saw fit to give gamers an early explanation of why the game is faring so well in the industry review. Today, they released a new trailer (with an extremely long intro) that covers how the story, and the characters in Castlevania Lords of Shadows, has evolved from the series roots.

Jason Isaac, who happens to be the voice adding the epic narration, explains why fans of the series should expect to forget what they know about the story, and why new combers well feel right at home. Though the story does stick to its roots, there are some original twist that makes this one of the most original takes on the Castlevania franchise.
