Is rare that two highly touted games release on the same day. However, when it happens gamers have some tough decisions make; especially gamers on a budget, which is likely all of us. Now that Enslave and Castlevanina are available, its likely you'll spend some time sitting at the checkout counter wondering which one is worth of that coveted 64.00 dollars. Well, were here to help you deiced. To aid in your next big adventure, we take the liberty of comparing which of these games will offer the best possible gaming experience, so you wont waste your money.

|
Enslaved - Story - 6/10
The story in Enslaved starts off well, the environments look fairly good, and the character designs are a goo fit for the world. The problem with Enslave's story is that it doesn't really climax. Nothing is every really explained in the story, after you finish the game you wont know any thing new about monkey, where he's from, or how he obtained his fighting abilities. It's almost irritating every time you see Andy Sirks' face on the screen when you pick up the mask. The Addition of real-world pictures ruins the illusion. It's even worst at the end of the game; if you play the game you'll understand

Castlevania - Story - 8.5/10
The story in Castlevania will meet and exceed your expectations. Gabriela is a very likely character, and as the story unfolds you get drawn closer in to his life, and his cause. The voice acting is at such a high quality that it adds a level of realism to the world. Combined with the many variation of levels, and the sense of scale in the environments, it wont take long for you to become emotionally connected to Gabriela. The variation of enemies and characters rivials the likes of God of War. From start to end you will feel motivated to find out the mystery behind the Lords of Shadows.

Enslaved - Graphics – 6.5/10
The visuals in Enslaved are good, the post apocalyptic world is believe at moments. The games mostly has an animated feel, and strays for the more photo-realistic look. Over all, the look of the game is good but theirs not much verity, or anything new to see beyond rusted metal, and over grown weeds.

Castlevania - Graphics - 9/10
The only other third person action adventure game to rival Lords of Shadow graphic prowess is God of War 3. Konami has almost match God of War's high production value, and scale. Every texture is clean and well done. The quick-time events, and the size of the games boss' are all welcome reflections of Kratos. However, this adventure title will take you a deeply emotionally journey, one that has its fare share of plot twist, and moving moments. Castlevanis LOS is beautful to watch, and a blast to play.

Enslaved - Gameplay & Controls - 7.8/10
This is were enslaves shines, the control scheme is simple, and the combat is fun. This is a true hack & slash title, theirs no need to memorize combos as basic button mashing will get the job done for you. If you change up you button sequence you will get to see a verity of new moves. On the other hand, most wont ever see many of the moves in the game, given, the game doesn't require you to explore the combat enough to find them out. Enslave makes for a great weekend rental, with the games 8-10 hours completion length, you could make it a daily rental, and be back in time for dinner. You might wont to hold on to that 64.00 dollars if you thing about getting this one.

Castlevania - Gameplay & Controls - 8.8/10
Castlevania Lords of Shadow is filled with hack & slash action, and new unlock-able combos. The game barrows a lot for some of the industry's best, while creating its own experience. Giving the interesting story, and the smooth combat, players should be eager to log the more than 20 hours of gameplay required to finish the game. Don't waste your time trying to rent this one as you will be hard press to finish this gamer in under 20 hours. This is one experience that shines among the industry's best, a must buy for sure.

The verdict -

Buy Castlevania!
This is likely going to be one of the best experiences of the year; there's no doubt its the longest third person action adventure title to date. For that reason, among many others, Castlevania LOS is Worthy of The Purchase.
On the other hand, Enslaved fall shorts in many areas. It a shame because everyone had such high hopes for Ninja Theory. Unfortunately, Enslave makes Ninja theory look like a shell of their former selves. The game had great combat engine, but lack creativity and variety in so many other areas. Apparently, the guys at Ninja Theory are only Ninjas in Theory, but not in reality.
