Zipper opens the file on Socom 4 revealing the details on the game's new advanced co-op mode; which Tom Rigas briefly described with us in an interview we conducted with him some time ago. Socom 4's co-op mode follows a different mission system featured in the single player mode.
The Single-player Campaign has a more artistic approach, featuring a cinematic story outlining a six day battle five marines endured while stranded in the desert. The mass five player co-op mode plays out like the classic version of Socom from it's glory day's on PS2, hosting multiple intense missions design specifically for co-op play, dont run and gun because you will die almost every time.

Zipper also goes into detail about some of the features they discussed with us a few months ago, by revealing more on how their new AI systems increases the games difficultly as you play. Here are the full details on Socom 4's Multiplayer co-op.
SOCOM 4′s cooperative mode features two main game types: “Takedown” and “Espionage.” Takedown charges your team with scouring an enemy-filled location in search of opposing VIPs that you must neutralize however you can. Espionage turns the focus to intelligence gathering, where you must use teamwork to track down enemy data and sabotage their local operations.

Before each co-op mission begins, you’re able to adjust both the overall difficulty and the density of the enemy soldiers positioned on the map. But even at its easiest, SOCOM 4′s cooperative mode has been designed to be challenging – as you progress, you’ll need to use teamwork by calling out enemies and objectives to your squadmates.
There's Also a big announcement coming on the air waves of GameTrailers TV later today, according to Zipper you don't want to miss it
