Amy: Details On The Next Big Third Person Action Horror Game For PS3 & 360

The digital downloading scene is creating some stiff competition for games retailers. Ironically, the console online networks are becoming the top contributors to gaming’s digital shift. The latest title to add a ton of appeal to all things digital is Amy. The action horror game with some melee enthused combat, and a very powerful autistic girl.
Today we get news on how players can expect to use tactics and weapons to defeat the zombie like foes. Developer Vector Cell, also dropped some new details on the games story. Players will primarily take control of Lana, who acts as Amy’s protector. As they navigate through the world, Lana will use different items in the environment to defend and attack the on coming enemies, while Amy provides some telepathic support.
This action horror game is one that will require players to hone both there melee skills, and their stealth tatics. Vector Cell first revealed Amy in mid 2011, the game is now officially set to release on January 11th 2012; for PSN & XBLA
Amy also offers a number of puzzles and gadgets players can use to survive and explore the world. There is still much left to the unknown about the full list of features in the game, but depth is one of the best ways to describe the new horror title. The story highlights an infection that’s taking over the world, and has also begun to invade Lana’s body. As Lana fight’s to save and protect Amy, she will also fight to save herself from the complete takeover of the infection. The story takes place in December 2034. Global warming has taken effect, causing widespread disease and an upsurge in natural disasters around the globe. The small town of Silver City (Midwest, USA) is directly affected - mostly by a comet that has crashed into town. As Lana, one of Silver's stricken citizens, regains consciousness - she witnesses the onset of a new kind of mayhem. Violent outbursts, fury, rage, wreckage and death: the world she knew seems to have gone to hell.
Apparently consumed by a mysterious illness, people she once knew are now part of a wild, ravenous horde. In spite of her wounds, she runs - she must escape this nightmare. Lana can tell that, deep within her, the viral process has begun but refuses to become one of them. Later, an autistic eight-year-old girl with strange powers will force her to make choices that change both their lives. Her name is Amy.
Infected humans, grisly creatures, special forces and even other survivors: they will have to trust and help each other to escape their pursuers in a desperate attempt to survive.
